Subscribe to SAT (EU) and receive a new sanction screening test every time a change is made to the EU sanctions list
What is SAT (EU)?
Sanctions Alert Testing (EU) is a specifically designed technology for banks, Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and Crypto-Asset Service Providers (CASPs) to ensure compliance with the new EU Instant Payments Regulation (IPR) concerning credit transfers in the Euro currency and known formally as Regulation (EU) 2024/886.
Subscribers to SAT (EU) will receive a test from AML Analytics every time a change is made to the EU Consolidated List. Each new test will contain the recent records that have been added to the EU list, as well as any records that have been modified.
Run the test through your sanction screening system for assurance that it is alerting correctly against EU Consolidated List changes.
In addition, use the test to compare changes against internal customer databases and hold your list provider to account. Both options can quickly and easily be supported via an API link.
The EU Consolidated List is updated regularly as changes occur whenever new sanctions are imposed, existing sanctions are modified, or individuals and entities are added or removed from the list.

Why do I need SAT (EU)?
Under the new regulations, PSPs and CASPs are subject to specific customer screening sanction screening requirements that emphasise compliance with EU sanctions laws and the identification of individuals or entities subject to targeted restrictive financial measures.
PSPs and CASPs must conduct sanction screening of their customers on a daily basis, and immediately after the adoption of any new targeted restrictive measures that come into force. These measures are announced in the Official Journal of the European Union and the names of sanctioned persons and entities are then added to the EU Consolidated List.
The IPR is intended to revolutionise the future of payments by enabling the receipt of funds within ten seconds in the SEPA zone.
SAT (EU) will help banks, PSPs and CASPs keep on top of these changes and ensure that lists are fully up-to-date, and that the required sanction screening standards are being met.
