As a senior front and back end developer at AMLA, I oversee the architecture of new solutions and consistently review the quality of our software. This ensures that our bespoke customer management system, which is central to managing customer data and running our sanction screening solutions, remains robust and scalable. By focusing on these aspects, we can confidently expand our services while maintaining top-notch performance.
What role does innovation play in your approach to managing core technologies?
In my role, innovation is critical. With my experience at AMLA over the years, I’ve seen our technologies evolve and grow. I work closely with business leads and stakeholders to implement their requirements, as well as anticipating future business needs and incorporating innovative new features into our systems. This approach ensures that we stay ahead of industry trends and continue to deliver effective, cutting-edge solutions to our customers.
In your experience, what are the most critical factors in maintaining the security and integrity of AMLA's core technologies?
Maintaining the security and integrity of our core technologies, particularly within our bespoke customer management system, requires a dual focus. I need to ensure high-quality code from a development perspective and continuously check it is interfacing with business requirements. Thorough code reviews and well-informed testing are essential practices that make our systems resilient against potential threats, safeguarding the quality and reliability of the services we provide to our customers.
